Director Chen Kalge ("Farewell My Concubine," "Sacrifice") looks at how media and technology have influenced a society relegated to sound bites and where perception becomes reality. In Chen's world, "the same technology that connects us can be used to tear us apart.' The film will have its international premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.


The last movie by the recently deceased Zalman King - the director-producer best known for such steamy fare as "The Red Shoe Diaries," "Nine Vt Weeks" and "Two Moon Junction" - is being billed as "an erotic Odyssey" that revolves around a young designer named Victoria (Malena Morgan) who falls into a passionate affair with Jack (Christos Vasilopoulos), "whose sensual charisma exerts an irresistible pull over her."


Based on the Korean filmmaker Cheol-eu Park's 1995 film "301/302," this psychological drama focuses on the intersecting Uves of two women - Amy (Heather Graham), a newly single chef, and former child star Saffron (Carrie-Anne Moss) - who occupy neighboring apartments, "each grappling with creeping obsessions that have begun to overtake their lives." Kevin Dillon and Joe Mantegna also star in this film, now in post, which is directed by Egidio Coccimiglio and shot by Oscar-winning d.p. Vilmos Zeigmond.
