eOne Films Int'l Sells F Word, Song for Marion

The F Word stars Daniel Radcliffe while Song For Marion received its world premiere when it closed the Toronto International Film Festival last weekend.

Rights to The F Word, a comedy about opposite-sex friends directed by Mike Dowse and produced by David Gross, have closed in Germany (Telepool), Russia (Carmen), Latin America (Sun Distribution), Benelux (eOne), Turkey (Mars Concept), Middle East (Frontrow) and India (Pictureworks). As previously announced eOne will distribute in the UK and Canada.

Song For Marion has gone to Italy (Lucky Red), South Africa (Videovision) and South Korea (United Entertainment Korea). The sales team is also closing a deal for Scandinavia.

Paul Andrew Williams directed Terence Stamp, Vanessa Redgrave, Gemma Arterton and Christopher Eccleston in the story of a late bloomer who joins a choir.
