John Travolta Eyes Vince Lombardi Biopic, John Woo's the Killer

John Travolta discusses next projects at the opening of the Zurich Film Festival, including a potential reunion with Face/Off director John Woo.

Speaking today at the Zurich Film Festival press conference for Oliver Stone's opening-night thriller Savages, actor John Travolta said he is "entertaining the possibility of doing" the remake of the John Woo film The Killer," as well as starring in a biopic of legendary American football coach Vince Lombardi.

Woo is set to produce the re-boot of his iconic 1989 action film The Killer, which starred Chow Yun Fat. John H Lee is attached to direct from a script by Josh Campbell.

The film will reportedly shoot in 3D, with producers Essential Entertainment and Lion Rock Productions (Woo and Terence Chang) behind it.

Woo and Travolta have collaborated successfully on Face/Off and Broken Arrow. …
