In this era when apps are king, Tiggzi rolled out the red carpet with an all-in-one platform for do-it-yourself app builders.

'Tiggzi is more than just a cloudbased app builder," says Max Katz, head of developer relations for Tiggzi, part of global software app developer Exadel, Inc. "We've turned the app builder into a whole platform where users can build HTML and native apps, with IDE [integrated development environment] in the cloud, plus there's mobile backend services where users can even store data for their apps."

Tiggzi has streamlined the appbuilding process with drag-and-drop ease. Users have access to web service design REST (REpresentational State Transfer) APIs, and there's also an option to have other developers collaborate on apps as they are being created (or at a later date), similar to how Google Docs operates, says Katz. "And since the platform is cloud-based, there's nothing to download and nothing to install," he says. Plus, users can customize their apps with personalized color schemes and format options.

Katz says that the platform is targeted for the enterprise environment and professional services. "Though we don't have all the functionality in place at this point that enterprises require, such as some security precautions, they're now in the works," he says. …
