Currently shooting in Hungary, Swedish actor-director Felix Herngren's first feature in six years, The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared (Hundraåringen som klev ut genom fönstret och försvann), will receive $1.7 million (SEK 11 million) production funding from the Swedish Film Institute.Swedish production outfit Nice FLX Pictures has signed a deal with the Walt Disney Company Nordic for Scandinavian distribution of he film, which will be released Buena Vista International during Christmas 2013. The Tele Munchen Group will handle German-speaking territories.Adapted from Swedish author Jonas Jonasson's first novel, which became Sweden's top-selling book in 2010, won the Booksellers' Award and was licensed to 35 countries, is the story of Alla Karlsson, who after long and eventful life ends up at a nursing home - the last stop. …
