The 23rd James Bond film Skyfall bursts on to the screen in the UK, Russia, France, South Korea, Brazil and Belgium this weekend through Sony Pictures Releasing International.

Daniel Craig's 007 may have too much in the tank for reigning champ Paranormal Activity 4, which has reached an early $33m through Paramount Pictures International (PPI) and enters 12 territories this weekend including South Korea, Taiwan and India.

PPI also launches Fun Size in Germany and top brass will look for consistent holds to propel DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar 3 from its $486.6m perch towards the magical $500m mark.

Early Oscar frontrunner Argo is set to open through Warner Bros Pictures International in Australia, Spain, Japan and Italy. Spanish juggernaut The Impossible stands at $28m in Spain while The Dark Knight Rises has reached $632.5m.
