TF1 International has sold David Hayter's werewolf thriller Wolves into a slew of territories ahead of showing first footage at the AFM.

Early deals for the $17m film - currently shooting in Canada for summer 2013 delivery - include to Germany (Square One), Japan (CCC), Russia (Art Film Distribution) and the Middle East (Falcon).

The thriller is produced by Steve Hoban of Copperheart and executive produced by Benedict Carver of Entertainment One, which has Canadian rights and is also handling US, UK and Benelux sales.Paris-based TF1 International is selling the rest of the world.

X-Men and Watchman writer Hayter describes his directorial debut as "Twilight with a bit more bite, and without abstinence". …
