Warner Bros Acquires UK Post-Production House De Lane Lea

Warner Bros Studios Leavesden (WBSL) has acquired leading UK sound mixing and post production facility De Lane Lea.

The financials of the deal have not been disclosed but the 65-year old post-production house, based in Soho, will be renamed Warner Bros De Lane Lea in the coming weeks.

Adding to WBSL's existing production facilities and on-site production rentals, the acquisition will allow the studio to provide a full production service to in-house film and TV productions as well as external clients - mirroring what film-makers are offered at Warner Bros headquarters in Los Angeles.

The facility includes three re-recording stages; two ADR stages; 40 picture editing suites; a TV mixing stage; a transfer bay for the digital delivery, conversion and ingestion of picture and sound; and a screening room.

De Lane Lea has recently been the post-production home of Skyfall, Frankenweenie, Prometheus and Dark Shadows. …
