Making Film Taps Phathanavirangoon as Development Head

Hong Kong filmmaker Pang Ho-cheung's Making Film Production has signed on producer and film festival programmer Raymond Phathanavirangoon in the new role of development director.

Phathanavirangoon will be responsible for developing co-productions and projects with young directors as well as scouting for new projects.

Established in 2001 by Pang and producer Subi Liang, Making Film's credits include Pang's directorial projects such as Isabella, Dream Home and Love In A Puff. Phathanavirangoon previously worked with the company on slasher film Dream Home. His producing credits also include Thai director Pen-ek Ratanaruang's Headshot, Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Tokyo Sonata and Boo Junfeng's Sandcastle.

In addition to Pang's directorial projects, Making Film has branched out into short films and commercials and also produces films from young filmmakers. …
