Cathy Wolfe will begin her new role as president and CEO of the Medical Research business at Wolters Kluwer Health on Jan. 1. Wolfe, who started at Wolters Kluwer in 1996, has been the CEO of Wolters Kluwer U.K. since 2007. She will succeed Karen Abramson, who was recently appointed to the position of president and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting's CCH Business Unit last September. Wolters Kluwer Health Medical Research, with brands that include Ovid and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, provides journal publishing solutions for medical and research worldwide within the medical, clinical, and nursing fields.

Clare Hart and Jason Rosenthal recently joined the advisory board of Factual, Inc., a Big Data startup based in Los Angeles that claims Apple, Facebook, foursquare, and Yelp as a few of its clients. Hart, who has led several datadriven companies, was most recently president and CEO of Infogroup and executive vice president of Dow Jones & Co., president of Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group, and president and CEO of Factiva. Rosenthal was recently executive vice president of products at Glam Media and has held senior operating roles at AOL, Netscape, and HP. Factual, founded by Gil Elbaz, who was also a co-founder of Applied Semantics, raised $27 million in financing from a number of investors at its launch in 2007.

Kim Massana recently joined Innovative Interfaces, Inc., as CEO. In his new role, Massana will be responsible for expanding the company's products and business developments. …
