SF Norge Acquires Majority Share in Motion Blur

Subsidiary of Scandinavian major Svensk Filmindustri has acquired a 51% majority share in the Norwegian production entity.

SF Norge, a subsidiary of Scandinavian major Svensk Filmindustri, has acquired a 51% majority share in the Norwegian production entity Motion Blur, entering into a partnership with its co-owners Harald Zwart, Veslemøy Ruud Zwart, Espen Sandberg, Joachim Rønning and Espen Horn.

Motion Blur recently launched Motion Blur Film which will produce features for the Norwegian and the international market, and currently has three feature film projects in development.

Svensk Filmindustri will distribute the Motion Blur feature films on all media in the Nordic region as well as handling international sales.

Horn commented: "Motion Blur is mainly a commercial film production entity, but many of the directors and producers involved in the operation also have a great desire to make feature films. …
