My favourite joke of all time concern s D iana Dor s , who se rea l name was Diana Fluck. She was invited back to Swindon, her bi r thplace , to open a fete . The v ica r, ter r i f ied he'd m i spronounce her name, mispronounced her name.

D iana's ambit ion wa s to have 'a big house, a swimming pool and a cream telephone'. She achieved these, plus psychopathic husbands, bankruptcy and an early death from cancer.
