M-Appeal Takes on Sales for Three Rotterdam Titles

Berlin-based world sales company m-appeal has taken on international distribution for Tiger Competition entry My Dog Killer and Bright Future titles Kayan and What They Don't Talk About When They Talk About Love.

Slovakian director Mira Fornay's second feature My Dog Killer, which depicts one day in the life of 18-year-old Marek and his longing for acceptance in the local neo-Nazi scene, will have its world premiere in Rotterdam's Tiger Award Competition.

The co-production between Mirafox and Cineart TV Prague had been presented at the Berlinale Co-Production Market in 2010 and was developed at the Nipkow Programme in Berlin.

Meanwhile, m-appeal will be represented in the Bright Future sidebar with the European premiere of Iranian-born Maryam Najafi's first feature. …
