Cinedigm, Voltage Sign Output Deal with Rapid Eye

Cinedigm and Voltage Pictures have signed a three-year, five-film output deal with Marco Weber's new genre label Rapid Eye Film.

Rapid Eye will develop, finance and produce the films, while Cinedigm will provide US theatrical, VoD, digital, TV and DVD release and Nicolas Chartier's Voltage Pictures will represent international sales rights.

First to go is sci-fi thriller Unraveling, which is currently out to casting. Weber wrote and will direct the project and produces alongside his longtime producing partner Vanessa Coifman.

Miggel Schwickerath also serves as producer and collaborated on The Informers with Weber when the latter ran the now defunct distributor Senator Entertainment US

Unraveling will shoot in Los Angeles in spring and is described as Angel Heart meets Seven. …
