HanWay Gets Posh for Blueprint and Lone Scherfig

Ahead of the EFM, HanWay has boarded sales of Blueprint Pictures drama Posh, Laura Wade's adaptation of her own acclaimed and controversial West End play.

An Education and One Day's Lone Scherfig is on board to direct the feature, which is set to shoot in May.

Set amongst the privileged elite of Oxford University, Posh follows Miles and Alistair, two first year students determined to join the infamous Riot Club where reputations can be made or destroyed over the course of a single evening.

Graham Broadbent and Pete Czernin produce for Blueprint Pictures with BFI Film Fund and Film4 on as co-developers. The production is currently assembling cast.

Scherfig commented: "Posh invites us into a uniquely fascinating and hilarious world to which none of us would normally have access.

"But this elite and refined world is not what it first seems, especially when its members are 'chateau'ed and provoked...."
