What is it about being in the kitchen that sparks so much discussion? Does the smell of cooking inspire creative thinking? Are meals the only 'real time' family and friends spend together? It's probably a bit of both. But the folks at Food for All - a community food security project led by the Just Food organization and the University of Ottawa - have another idea. The goal of their Kitchen Table Talk Series is for people to reflect on their community's nutritional health and sustainability. Launched this January, the series encourages volunteers to run discussion groups on food policy within their communities.
