...the New Internationalist had a special focus on Animal Rights. Looking back, it is striking and sad how little things have changed in the intervening years. Pieces on animal testing and vivisection, the ethics of animal liberation raiders, factory farming and the genetic engineering of new animals - all of these would seem just as relevant now. So too would the material about the myriad problems associated with eating meat.
