Finding the perfect dance bag is a tall order. Not only does it have to hold all the necessities, but it goes everywhere from studio to theater and all places in between. Six dancers from American Repertory Ballet welcomed the challenge of testing more than 15 styles when Pointe came to their studio in Princeton, New Jersey.

1 "This is a good-sized bag. When I am traveling, I would definitely use it. I like the flap covering the zipper. It's extra security" -Anitra Nurnberger on Capezio

2 "This is a very functional bag. There's a pocket on the outside, which would be for your water bottle. That's good because I always lose mine. And I like bright colors." -Bat Abbit on Melo 3 "This is nice because it has a thicker lining on the bottom, so that you can put heavy stuff in it. The mesh inside is good for shoes and even sweaty [clothes]. Anitra Numberger on Danskin 4 The color's cute, and the cloth is durable. And it's gray, which is good because if you pick up dirt, it doesn't really show." -Kymm Clayton on Walker Bags 5 "1 like the mesh, so odors don't stay in. It's a good size, and it can expand. You can put a lot of stuff in here, I carry a lot" -Anitra Nurnberger on Prima Soft 6 "I love the look, and I love the size. It's big enough, but not too big. This is all the room I would need.
