Continuing its overseas dominance, Sony's "Django Unchained" scored $43. 1 million over the Jan. 25-27 frame, pushing its international cume to $111.6 million, while another Sony title, "Skyfall," was boosted by a whopping $34.4 million week from a single territory - China.

Still playing in 31 overseas markets, "Skyfall" totaled $35.4 million in its 14th frame, lifting its international cume to $776.6 million. The pic's worldwide total now stands at nearly $1.08 billion, making the Bondpic the eighth-highest grossing film of all time.

For "Django," Germany contributed $8.1 million in its second week, down just 1 1%, boosting its cume to $21 million in the territory. That equals the market's entire total for 2009's "Inglourious Basterds." France, meanwhile, added $6.6 million for a cume of $16.4 million. The pic grossed $4.2 million in its opening Australian frame.

Russia has been one of the few disappointments for "Django," with the film falling 43% in its second frame. The pic, which has cumed $10 million in the territory, has been hit especially hard by pirates taking advantage of the nearly monthlong gap between the pic's Christmas Day U. …
