Oz The Great And Powerful will surge past the $100m international mark this weekend and is expected to hold on to pole position without much trouble.

The adventure fantasy has raced to approximately $87m through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International and opened in France and Belgium on Wednesday, with Taiwan set to follow on Saturday.

Warner Bros Pictures International will open Steve Carell comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone day-and-date with North America in the UK and Australia.

The Hobbit stands at $709.8m, while Argo's post-Oscar boost continues to serve it well and has propelled the drama to $90.5m. Jack The Giant Slayer stands at $24.8m and arrives this weekend in Germany, Spain and Mexico.
