A man was driving with his 6-year-old son in New York City one afternoon just after a heavy rainstorm. Driving through a puddle of water, he unintentionally splashed a pedestrian. "Dad," the son said, "you just splashed a man from Florida."

"How do you know the man was from Florida?" the father asked. The boy answered, "He looked awfully mad and I could hear him yelling something about the sun and beach." -Pat Mastromatteo Easton, Conn.

A reluctant husband was forced to go to the opera of his wife's choice. In the second act, nature called, and he sought a restroom.
