Another offering from Preservation Hall that teams the world-renown house band with musicians of a totally different musical persuasion; bluegrass, in the shape of Del McCoury and his band.

As the album's plural title suggests, this is a blending of two of America's music styles. Bluegrass and Dixieland may seem rather strange bedfellows at first however, both genres do come from the south, and in this case both bands seem to appreciate the art of improvisation.
