The Exchange has closed what it said was a low-to-mid six-figure deal for the action film as it builds its production slate backed by the recently announced Exchange Peaks Film Capital fund.

Lucas Carter's spec screenplay is being structured as a co-production between The Exchange and Intrigue Entertainment. Exchange Peaks Film Capital, the fund The Exchange set up with Grand Peaks Entertainment, will finance the project.

Laura Ivey will produce Camden with Intrigue's Tariq Jalil while Brian O'Shea [pictured] of The Exchange and Alan Simpson of Grand Peaks will serve as executive producers.

Camden centres on a romance between the daughter of the US President and a young Secret Service agent posing as a student to protect her when a renegade military group storms her elite college and takes her hostage.
