This issue completes The Sondheim Review's 19th year of publication. Back in 1994 when TSR began, Stephen Sondheim was already a preeminent figure in the musical theatre universe: Passion debuted that year and won the Tony Award for best musical. In 2013, it's being revived at New York City's Classic Stage Company, staged by John Doyle and featuring Judy Kuhn as Fosca, Melissa Errico as Clara and Ryan Silverman as Giorgio. You'll find lots of coverage in this issue.

Kuhn also starred in Passion during the monumental Sondheim Celebration at the Kennedy Center in 2002.
