USA Builds Momentum for 'Moment' Via Church Outreach

With "American Bible Challenge" breaking GSN's ratings records, "The Bible" miniseries pulling in more than 10 million viewers a week on History, and Lifetime's "Preachers' Daughters" offering a cheekier take on religion, faith-friendly fare is having a big impact on entertainment nets.

"The Moment," which bowed on USA last week, offers Americans a second chance at their dreams, be it becoming a NASCAR driver or a sports photog. The show, created and produced by Charlie Ebersol and Justin Hochberg for Hochberg Ebersol Co., is hosted by former NFL star Kurt Warner.

USA took the program to hundreds of churches, offering screenings and simulcast events with preacher Max Lucado and Warner. …
