United Agents Tie with Ed Victor

United Agents has inked a deal with London-based literary agency Ed Victor to exclusively represent all of its clients in their film, TV and theatrical work.

EV's roster includes Frederick Forsyth, Jack Higgins, Edna O'Brien, John Banville, Nigella Lawson, Tina Brown, Andrew Marr and Eoin Colfer. It also represents literary estates including Douglas Adams, Raymond Chandler and Iris Murdoch.

Charlie Campbell for Ed Victor and Georgina Lewis for UA will head up the arrangement, under the direction of chairman Ed Victor and St John Donald, managing director of UA.

Victor said: "Times are changing, and the selling of film and TV rights is an increasingly complex business.

"Up until now, we have worked with a number of top agencies in London and Hollywood on a case-by-case basis. …
