Belgian outfit to produce and finance both features.

Early in the market, aggressive Belgian outfit uMedia has announced it is to produce and finance the big screen version of French graphic novel series Black Op and an English language remake of the French hit Priceless, which starred Audrey Tatou.

The company's founder and CEO Adrian Politowski [pictured] gave details of the new projects which join uMedia's bulging development slate.

Black Op is billed as a Spy Games meets Bourne thriller, exposing how the CIA funded Russian mafia operations during the Cold War to destabilise the Communist regime from within. Years later, the covert partnership comes back to haunt them when Russian operatives on American soil rewrite the rules.

Priceless, originally starring Tatou, is to be remade in the English language by uMedia who has secured the film's remake rights. …
