EXCLUSIVE: Memento Film International (MFI) enjoys busy Cannes.

Paris-based Memento Film International's Directors' Fortnight title Blue Ruin is proving a hot title in the market.

Jeremy Saulnier's genre thriller has sold to the Middle East (Falcon), Turkey (BIR), Portugal (Vendetta), India (Picture Works), Scandinavia and Iceland (Non-Stop), Latin America (CDI), Korea (Jinjin), Spain (Festival Film) and Australia (Madman).

Falcom Media has bought TV and DVD rights for Switzerland.

As previously announced, the film was acquired by the UK's Picturehouse Entertainment and Radius-TWC for the US early on in the market.

Palme d'Or contender The Past, which was picked up by Sony Pictures Classics earlier in the week, has also added more sales to Sweden (Folkets Bio), Finland (Cinema Mondo), Norway (Arthaus), India (Picture Works), Spain (Golem), Germany (Camino) and Denmark (Angel). …
