Colombian teen model turned TV celebrity moves into mainstream

CLAIM TO FAME

The former Miss Bogota catapulted to pan regional renown as an MTV Latin America pre senter al age 17. She also hosted one ol Colombia's high rated shows this year, Colombia's Newt Top Model, which aired on broadcast network Caracol TV.

CROSSING OVER

She's already popular among in Hispanic TV viewers for her roles in hit telenovelas and for co hosting Univision's 2009 music talent show Viva el sueno! (Long Live the Dream!). Guerra 24, stars with Peter Pacinelli and Sophia Myles in Gallows Hill, her first English-language pic. which IM Global is selling at Cannes.

EARLY START

She began modeling at the age of 15, thanks to her fashion designer mother. At 17, she was pulled in to audition for an MTV hosting job while accompanying her friend. She got the job; her friend didn't. She starred in her first TV series El ventilador at 18.
