This is a very unusual album. There is a lot of traditional guitar work here but not all. "Without Shadows" is a short piece that sounds more like an organ than a guitar. He uses several different instruments on this CD and obvious that track was performed by a guitar with that feature. "Escape From Lower Formant Shift", by the way, the other original by Kreisberg in this collection, also has a very different sound, almost sounding like a synthesizer. The man is a highly skilled musician and the notes claim there is no additional tracks, overdubs or loops used, just purely solo work. It would take me time to adjust to the sounds of his two original pieces. …
