Study of online chatter around the BFI London Film Festivals reveals major audience interest for Gravity, Under the Skin and Blue is the Warmest Colour.

Research into online conversations during the first week of the 57th London Film Festival, conducted by comms agency Way to Blue, has revealed what audiences are most looking forward to viewing when features go on general release.

Alfonso Cuaron's space thriller Gravity, currently topping the North American box office, is leading conversation with 6.8% of all LFF mentions, and the highest propensity to view (PtV) at 23.6%.

Jonathan Glazer's Under the Skin, starring Scarlett Johansson as a predatory alien on the streets of Glasgow, has a 22.53% PtV despite only controlling 1.9% of conversation.

Abdellatif Kechiche's Cannes winner, Blue is the Warmest Colour, only features in 0.92% of conversations but 22% of those express a major desire to see the film about a passionate lesbian relationship. …
