Picturehouse exec Clare Binns will no longer programme for Everyman cinemas.

Everyman is moving the programming of its ten UK cinemas in-house after a 12-year collaboration with Picturehouse.

Jody Pope will assume programming responsibilities from Picturehouse's Clare Binns.

Pope was most recently senior sales manager at Universal Pictures and joins Everyman as head of film from Feb 2014.

"I have loved booking for the Everyman sites over the years, but we both feel that the timing is right for this change," said Binns, director of programing and acquisitions at Picturehouse Cinemas and Picturehouse Entertainment.

"It makes sense for Everyman to take programming in house at this stage, and since we at Picturehouse are busy developing new sites and growing our distribution arm, I don't have as much time to concentrate on their needs. …
