ADELA DE LA TORRE has been appointed vice chancellor for student affairs at the University of California, Davis. She has been in the role on an interim basis. She earned a bachelor's, a master's and a doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley.

GARIKAI CAMPBELL has been appointed provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Morehouse College. Campbell previously served as associate vice president for strategic planning and special assistant to the president at Swarthmore College. He earned a bachelors degree from Swarthmore and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University.

LORRAINE FLEMING has been named interim dean of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Computer Sciences at Howard University. Fleming is a professor and former chair of the Department of Civil Engineering at the university. She earned a bachelors degree from Howard University, a masters from George Washington University and a doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley.

JAMES BERRY has been named director of university safety and security affairs at Kentucky State University. Berry, a 38-year veteran of law enforcement, had been chief of police for the City of Paducah, Ky. He earned a bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University.

DONALD R. PEARSALL has been appointed assistant vice chancellor for business services at Winston-Salem State University. Pearsall was previously director of human resources and risk management at Livingstone College. He earned a bachelors degree from North Carolina Central University, a masters of business administration from Strayer University and is in a doctoral program at Capella University. …
