Sierra/Affinity Strikes Focus Deal

Sierra/Affinity has formalised a relationship with the Focus Features fold that was hinted at during the AFM and will represent international rights to select titles going forward.

The alliance will complement the activities of Universal Pictures International outside North America and marks another milestone for the ambitious Sierra/Affinity in the wake of Marc Butan's arrival.

Sierra/Affinity CEO Nick Meyer will continue to service existing licensing deals on Kevin Macdonald's Jude Law submarine thriller Black Sea and Kill The Messenger starring Jeremy Renner (pictured), two hot titles that the now defunct Focus Features International (FFI) introduced in Berlin 2013.
