Finecut Gets Obsessed with Bravos

EXCLUSIVE: Finecut sells romantic drama to Hong Kong distributor.

Seoul-based sales company Finecut has sold nostalgic romantic drama Obsessed to start-up Hong Kong distributor Bravos Pictures.

Bravos has rights for Hong Kong and Macau to the film, directed by Kim Dae-woo (The Servant) and starring Song Seung-heon (A Better Tomorrow). Finecut expects to close several other territories following the film's market screening in Cannes.

The film opens in Korea today on 500 screens through Next Entertainment World. Song plays an elite officer suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder following the Vietnam War, who falls into an obsessive love affair that forces him to give up everything he had achieved.

Finecut has also picked up Kim Ki-duk's upcoming drama One On One, which is scheduled for Korean release on May 22. …
