This book's subject is three vocalists, Babs Gonzales, Buddy Stewart and Dave Lambert. Salemann covers the period from 1946 to 1950 regarding Gonzales, 1941 to 1949 for Stewart and 1944 to 1951 for Lambert. This edition, like the previous ones, covers the discography, band routes and engagements for these three men. I may sound like a broken record but the effort that Mr. Salemann puts into these volumes is mind boggling. He breaks the book down into three separate entries with a name index and a tune index for each section. There are also some reproductions of photos and ads spread throughout the edition. He strives for completeness and accuracy in all his works and welcomes additions and corrections.

The work of Dave Lambert and Buddy Stewart do overlap primarily with the Gene Krupa recordings. …
