Ex Libris Awards Innovation

Ex Libris Group established an annual award to honor the memory of its founder and first CEO, Azriel Morag. The Azriel Morag Award for Innovation consists of $3,000 and will be given to a librarian who has shown innovation and initiative during the 2 years leading up to the date of nomination. Baker & Taylor and collectionHQ Launch ESP

Baker & Taylor's new service ESP, Evidence-based Selection Planning, uses collectionHQ's data analytics to make a decision support system. Integrated with Title Source 360, it will assist libraries in purchasing titles and quantities for each location. ESP identifies titles based on past circulation by author, subject, and series.

Alexander Street Press Debuts PBS Titles

Alexander Street Press is producing a new, limited edition, online database of PBS films and series. The PBS Video Collection will have a multiyear subscription option until the end of 2014. It will include 245 titles along with 172 rotating bonus titles for a limited time. It is available to academic, public, and school libraries in North America as a 3-year subscription.

ABA Ebooks Added to LexisNexis Digital Library

LexisNexis Legal & Professional teamed up with the American Bar Association (ABA) to make ABA ebooks available in LexisNexis Digital Library. Digital Library gives librarians and legal professionals a single place to access, borrow, and manage legal ebook titles. Subscribers to Digital Library will be able to purchase access to and license more than 200 titles published by ABA.

EBSCO Offers Titles From Random House

EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) joined with Random House, LLC to offer fiction and nonfiction ebooks from Random House. More than 30,000 ebooks will be added to EBSCO. Library patrons will be able to download ebooks to mobile devices, and the Random House titles will be included in EBSCO's Best-Sellers Collection, New Releases Collection, and Youth Award Winners Collection.
