The Immigrant Defense Project and the Center for Urban Pedagogy have launched a new Web-based education tool designed to help demystify the com- plex interactions between local authori- ties and federal immigration policies. The new tool, called "Don't Get ICEd: A Guide to Protecting Immigrants from Deportation after Arrest," features information in English and Spanish to help the friends, family and employers of detained immigrants understand the legal proceedings involved in U.S. immi- gration cases.
