Aimed squarely at professional filmmakers, the Hero4 Black is GoPro's most powerful mobile action camera, boasting twice the power of its predecessor inside a tiny lighter-shaped package. The camera records up to 4K resolution at 15fps, 2.7K at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps and 720p at 120fps, and now includes night modes. Wi-Fi connects to mobile devices through a much-improved touchscreen.

It's 30% smaller than its previous version, and records full 1080p HD video, while impressively handling slow-motion and action footage via a Zeiss lens that offers 170 degrees of view, and SteadyShot stabilization technology. A new Live View Remote accessory includes wrist controls. The device also provides live streams, through Ustream.
