This is the latest in our member Chris's series of disco-graphical books, to all of which I would apply the term scholarly. It is in the same format as its predecessors, except that this time it is staple bound.

Black Bob and Blind John Davis have been selected for special attention because of their superior quality as blues accompanists at the time. This is amply demonstrated by their playing on the enclosed CD. Its 26 tracks feature 15 with Black Bob and 11 with Blind John, supporting a variety of artists, such as Tampa Red, Bumble Bee Slim, Memphis Minnie, Lil Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, Washboard Sam and many more.

The book has a Foreword by Michael Hortig of Graz, Austria, plus two essays concerning Blind John Davis and an article entitled "Who Was Black Bob? …
