Do you love bebop? Yes. Do you love history? Yes, all kinds of history including American History, World History, history of cars and airplanes and most of all, jazz history. So this volume at hand, devoted to the excellent pianist, Arnold Ross for a period of 1939 thru 1952 is a perfect fit. I will not go into any detail regarding Arnold Ross. Most of you know who he is very well and if you don't this volume will be a big help to get to know the man and his music. Each time I get my hands on any type of jazz discographical publication I am excited. This goes double with this series. I do not recall how many of these volumes in this series I have reviewed but am always fascinated by their efforts. They sure must have some special soft wear on their computer to be able to provide all this information and in chronological order. …
