Terry Winnick was, in all respects, a living example of a true humanitarian, leader, mentor, and friend. He served as an inspiration to others in both his personal and professional life.

Terry graduated from USC with a degree in architectural design and began his career at Universal Studios in 1968 as a tour guide. During his 18 year tenure, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Universal Studios Hollywood and Senior Vice President of Universal City Florida, with a particular focus on the design and development of such movie-themed attractions as Jaws, E.T., Kongfrontation, and Back to the Future; Ride the Movies. Credited by many as being the "architect of Universal Studios Hollywood," his love of people, creativity, and vision helped to shape the Universal theme park experience for visitors from around the world.

Following Universal, Terry spearheaded major expansion projects at the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Wild Animal Park where he served as CEO and General Manager. In addition. as Executive Vice President, he oversaw the planning, design, and construction of large themed resorts in 7 states for Grand Casinos, and resort properties domestically and abroad for Circus Circus Enterprises. …
