RSC and EBSCO Team to Bring Electronic Journals to the Desktop

The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and EBSCO Subscription Services have announced that they are working together to bring 17 electronic journals to the desktops of subscribers through EBSCO Online, upon its release scheduled for January 1999. The existing 15 RSC online journals and two new journals for 1999, Green Chemistry and Journal of Environmental Monitoring, will be available through EBSCO Online.

"The Royal Society of Chemistry is keen to allow wide access of its journals to subscribers in the online environment," said Mike Hannant, RSC publisher, electronic journals. "EBSCO Online is an important new access route for our customers. EBSCO Online will be a significant tool in bringing subscriptions from a number of publishers directly to the researcher's desktop via a single interface."
