Cecily strong of "Saturday Night Live" will be this year's featured entertainer at the April 25 White House Correspondents Assn, dinner - a gig that's one of the toughest assignments for a comic.

It's bad enough that the Washington Hilton ballroom of roughly 2,600 people is full of journalists, media executives, celebrities and powerful D.C. figures, has terrible acoustics, and that the event is broadcast live on cable news channels. But worse is that, in keeping with tradition, she will be following the Commander-in-Chief, not coming on before him.

"He's maybe our funniest president," Strong said, recalling the State of the Union address in which Obama delivered a smackdown quip after GOP detractors applauded his mention that he had run his last campaign. "You know, his timing is great," she noted."'It's tough to follow that guy."

She said she hopes Obama's writers send over his jokes, to make sure they don't repeat the same material. …
