* Microsoft will debut Windows 10 in summer 2015. New features include Windows Hello (with biometric authentication access), Cortana availability in Mandarin, and versions of Windows for Internet of Things devices (such as ATMs and ultrasound machines). The company will also introduce a new browser that will not be associated with Internet Explorer. Many customers using Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone 8.1 will get a free upgrade to Windows 10, which will be available in 190 countries and 111 languages. * EBSCO Information Services rolled out EBSCO Orbit, a catalog of apps for enhancing EBSCO's discovery experience. Libraries can browse and request nearly 100 apps that will augment searching, highlight content, enhance library interaction, and integrate with third-party environments. In other news, EBSCO introduced Chinese Insight, a multidisciplinary database of full-text, predominantly Chineselanguage journals for academic institutions.
