The jewel tone of this dress is pretty and makes her eyes pop, but the silhouette itself is a bit of a blob.

Something more tailored (AKA didn't look like a draped curtain) would be a much wiser choice.

That said, she accessorized it nicely. The clutch gives the right amount of razzle-dazzle and the dressier punch it needs.


The hair and makeup is on point. The Old Hollywood glam thing feels very film festival and the simple red lips with the white has a Marilyn undertone.

The bejeweled trim on the dress reads a little bit ice skater.

Seemingly, the black minaudiere would make no sense here, but it breaks up the sea of white satin nicely.


Haltered necklines are tricky and normally read cheesy, but this is chic and something different.

The gown's intricate beading, the dark makeup palette and oxblood lip color, the sleek pixie hairstyle: it all works.

We just wish she had chosen some more dainty and less piatform-y footwear.
