Word on the U.K. celebrity real estate street is that renowned chef, restaurateur and entrepreneurial media personality Jamie Oliver recently plunked down somewhere around $15 million for a historic house along a celeb-lined lane in North Ixmdon's swanky Highgate Village, where some of the other high-profile homeowners include Jude Law, George Michael, Kate Moss, and Sting and wife Thidie Styler.

The sensitively restored and carefully updated Georgian residence dates to the late 17th century, and spans about 5,700 square feet over four floors linked, per marketing materials kindly forwarded by London-based property obsessive Flower Perfectbush, by a "particularly fine staircase."
