Billy Joel has put a pair of side-by-side properties he bought less than two years ago in Manalapan, Fla., just south of blue-blooded Palm Beach, back on the market for a combined $29 million. The two parcels, both less-than-ideally bisected by Ocean Boulevard, together span more than 3.8 otherwise super-prime acres that stretch from the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean. They were purchased by the sixtime Grammy-winning piano man in two separate transactions in the spring and summer of 2014, for a total of more than $11.8 million.

The slightly larger parcel is one of the few undeveloped pieces of land in Manalapan, and the other, slightly smaller lot, is built out with an approximately 8,700-square-foot mansion described in the broker babble as a freshly refurbished "Modern Mediterranean Island Transitional."
