Terell Stafford is one of the most exciting jazz trumpet players on the scene today. He is balanced with an equally talented front row mate, Tim Warfield. The two have worked side by side on many occasions in bands they led separately as well as sidemen in other groups. Check out their biographies. It is interesting to read of all they experienced. The rhythm section is very strong. Everyone gets the spotlight on this album.

The first three tunes are all what I'd call hard bop or post-bop. "Candy" is a ballad and strictly Terell Stafford. …
