Fresh from the floor of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, here are some of the hottest gadgets and gizmos that be will available in the coming months.

Pico Brew I $599

This home appliance allows craft beer enthusiasts to re-create their favorites from small, artisanal breweries around the world, connecting wirelessly to the Internet to download recipes licensed from small craft beer brewers. Pre-mixed brewing kits called PicoPaks, which will sell for $20 each and yield five liters of beer, help get the right ingredients for each brew. Budding home brewers who are feeling adventurous can tweak existing beers, or create their own, and then share their recipes with the Pico community. Pico Brew even doubles as a sous vide cooker to whip up a feast that complements whatever is on tap. The appliance is expected to ship in May, but can be pre-ordered now.

Sevenhugs Smart Remote | Around $200 for starter kit

Like a magic wand for home appliances, this smart remote connects with devices ranging from the TV to lights to a speaker or smart thermostat, eliminating the need to keep a stack of different remotes on hand, or constantly reach for your phone to find the right app. It also recognizes devices based on location: Point it toward the television, and it becomes a TV remote. Point toward a Sonos speaker to control the volume of that device. Available for pre-order this quarter, it ships in September.
